| Red Star Home Inspections was founded by Jeremy Benefiel (TREC#8595). As a seasoned captain for the Houston Fire Department; Jeremy has seen the importance of home inspections. It was Jeremy’s background in the fire service that led him to become a home inspector. During the past twelve years, Jeremy fought many fires due to faulty electrical wiring. He has also noted that many accidents in the home are due to unsafe property conditions, or builders cutting corners during the construction process. Jeremy has seen firsthand, the results of such carelessness and is dedicated to making a difference. |

| In 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, Jeremy was hired as a contractor by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). He inspected over four hundred homes damaged by the hurricane in both Texas and Louisiana. Jeremy’s enthusiasm in serving his community and his trustworthy personality make him a leader among other home inspectors. |
